The Bassendean Project

Our Bassendean clients had a special request: they wanted a garage and workshop that would perfectly compliment their 100-year-old character home. The challenge was to make the garage blend in seamlessly as if it had always been part of the property. To achieve this, we collaborated with the client, who took the initiative to source recycled character windows from a cottage being demolished in East Fremantle. These unique windows were integrated into the structure, ensuring that it harmonised perfectly with the era of the original building.

While maintaining the vintage charm, we also incorporated modern features to enhance functionality. A keyless magnetic pedestrian door and an insulated garage door were among the thoughtful additions, ensuring convenience and efficiency in their daily use.
